BFvsGF

PrankVsPrank is vlog created by boyfriend and girlfriend duo Jesse and Jenna. The idea started when ” We always used to play little jokes on each other before the channel came about, but one day i asked her to do the cinnamon challenge, not knowing she would have such a funny reaction. Coincidentally that was the first video we had ever uploaded and it instantly went viral. She never expected millions of people to watch her and she felt a little embarrassed , so that is when the prank “war” began. She wanted revenge for humiliation, and she got it. ”

There are tons of people making prank videos, though some in my opinion go a little overboard. Most of their pranks aren`t elaborate but the reactions they get are great!
I love messing with my boyfriend so this gives me some great material. This is a one-way street because I`m not a good sport when he gets me back, Jenna takes it like a champ. When it comes to devising the ultimate prank, nothing is off limits with these guys!  I highly recommend checking them out.

sxephil : Your New News Source

If I asked you to think of someone who exemplified YouTube, someone whose content is almost a staple of the site, who would you come up with? Jenna Marbles? Ray William Johnson ? Personally, my first choice would be Philip DeFranco, a.k.a. “sxephil”. In the span of five years, DeFranco has established himself as the preeminent source of news and commentary on the site. He has built a considerable audience, with 1.6 million subscribers to the main channel and 578,000 to the vlogs. One of the things that really draws me to his videos are the insights he provides on the YouTube industry. Because DeFranco was one of the first content providers to make a name for himself as a YouTube Partner (meaning he gets a share of the ad revenue made on his videos), he has an intimate knowledge of the way the Internet media industry works.

I find that DeFranco’s main show is actually a good source for news on the topics he covers, especially the more eccentric stories not picked up by the big news networks. He presents himself as being an equal with his audience, simply offering his opinion on crazy politicians or talking about dirty side of the entertainment industry, but never taking himself seriously.

This channel is amazing, and you should definitely check it out at least a couple times. I would rate this channel a 10 out of 10 .

Off the Pill

Off the pill is a series of videos produced by YouTube phenomenon Ryan Higa. A Japanese- American comedian from Hawaii , Higa has over ten million followers and uploads weekly. He has a few different channels stemming from his main YouTube account (nigahiga, off the pill, Higa TV). He usually vlogs in the form of rants, funny sketches, music videos and my personal favorite – spoofs.  His rants are what he refers to as ” off the pill” , ADHD pill that is and the videos are usually just a quick , disjointed , hilarious little morsel. Higga does a wonderful job at poking fun of popular trends, Hooked on Phonics turns into “Hook on Fonics”.

Higa is only 22 yet and has been uploading videos for about 6 years. His nickname “nigahiga” stems from the japanese word niga, meaning rant and then his last name Higa. His videos have a really upbeat positive vibe to them so i thought it only appropriate the share one entitled “Nice Guys”.

He also has a cool draw my life video up that may be of interest !

The Buzz about BuzzFeed

BuzzFeed is the first YouTube channel i turn to when looking to do some extreme procrastination. They offer tasty little vids on highly interesting and completely random topics and post 2-3 a day! After watching a few of these videos it will come as no surprise that the CEO previously co-founded the Huffington Post. If you want to be able to drop useless fun facts on your friends this needs to be on your subscription list. Videos include : What would happen if the world lost oxygen for 5 minutes, Ten trips you needs to take in your 20`s , and Cool Travel Hacks. This channel would be best received by those who enjoy comedy, random facts, and pop culture.
